This exceptional device is ahead of its time and ergonomically designed. 

The Xgenus® x-ray system utilizes advanced ac (alternating current) technology.

Smaller in comparison to the previous Xgenus® systems, the new x-ray has been designed as a no-limits machine. The patented de Götzen® "open system" makes it possible to buy one system with the ability to connect an additional tubehead and pantograph arm with ac or dc technology. 

The Xgenus® x-ray system is a true operating revolution that will provide high quality x-rays.

Properly protected against radiation leakage. (according to IEC standard: less than 0,25 mGy/h at 1m, the real value is less than 0,1 mGy/h at 1 m)
 
The high kV (70kV) and the accurate mA produces an electron beam focused into a small focal spot(0.7mm). This provides a gray scale suitable to improve the reading of the radiography.  
 
The standard 12-inch (31cm) focus-skin distance helps to maximize the use of the parallel technique. The short cone (optional) reduces the distance to 8-inch (20cm).
 
The Xgenus® timer is a new design that satisfies the most recent hardware and software standards
 
The device is easy to read and very fast to set up.

The exposure time charts are arranged for film speed types "D", "E", "F" and most digital imaging systems.

Visual and audible signals indicate that the x-ray exposure has been made.
 
A red warning light (Xgenus® light) is available to place outside of the X-ray room.
 
Connects to an exposure control button with safety key (Xgenus® exposure control button) outside of the x-ray room.
  
The automatic self-test assures proper operation of all electronic functions (error codes immediately indicate any faults).
 
The safety key is another way to prevent improper use of the unit when the system is switched off. 

Device displays the line voltage and collects operating data during use (important feature for the system in ac).

The pantograph arm assures smooth, accurate and firm control. It can be adjusted for 40cm, 80cm (standard), 110cm extender arms as well as floor, ceiling, and mobile units.
